Durable interior decoration

Hildis Have lies like an oasis in the heart of Hillerød on northern Zealand. The housing development is centred around a communal green area, while cars are kept in an underground car park. The development is distinguished by its high level of sustainability at every level.

The 84 flats are distributed across five blocks, which are each different in character. In one of the blocks, 24 flats constitute a senior housing community. At ground floor level, the senior flats have a communal room at their disposal which opens out onto a patio. The room is well lit with natural daylight, and has a flexible layout.

Troldtekt tiles in white adorn the end wall around the patio doors and the TV; they are an integrated part of the decor while also providing effective acoustics regulation.

The building also features a communal roof terrace and a communal living room at the end of a corridor. Here too, Troldtekt tiles have been used for the ceiling in the corridor and in the communal room. Burgundy red has been chosen for the wall, which adds a touch of style.

Material requirements

The development carries the Nordic Swan Ecolabel, which aims to minimise environmental impact while setting specific requirements with regard to energy efficiency, indoor climate and materials.

This means that throughout the construction process there was considerable focus on the materials as regards their environmental friendliness and recyclability. In this context, Troldtekt has been approved for use while also contributing to superior acoustics.

The other flats that make up Hildis Have also have a communal room, where Troldtekt line has been installed on the ceilings, and one wall has been clad with warm-coloured Troldtekt tiles.

Troldtekt solutions are beautifully integrated in the communal facilities, and thus provide a design solution that is both robust and elegant.
