Acoustic design on the ceiling

In the newly designed premises of an acoustics office in Pöcking, Bavaria (Germany), different acoustic clouds create strong design accents and also serve as display objects for potential customers.

Akustik+Bauphysik Süd Burkhart und Partner beratende Ingenieure PartGmbB are headquartered in picturesque Pöcking in the Upper Bavarian district of Starnberg, not far from Munich. Founded in 1983, the company has continued to develop and has an office in Munich as well as branches in Weimar and Offenbach.

Experts in accoustics

A total of 16 employees offer measurements, advice and expert opinions on acoustics and thermal building physics as sworn experts in the fields of sound insulation in building technology, building and room acoustics as well as sound absorption and reproduction technology/sound technology. The office is also a certified quality inspection body for building and room acoustics, sound absorption in building technology, sound technology and heating technology.

The experts are the right port of call for heating and humidity engineering as well as building and room acoustic planning and also provide advice on the topic of lighting.

Acoustic clouds with indirect lighting

So it’s no wonder that the focus was on room acoustics when redesigning four office spaces in the company building in Pöcking, built in 2014. In the light-flooded offices, a total of 80 square metres were fitted with Troldtekt acoustic clouds. Combined with dark wooden floors, wooden windows and white walls, the acoustic clouds in different sizes, colours and finishes create strong design accents in the modern office landscape.

The acoustic clouds provide a pleasant sense of space, improve room acoustics and enable attractive indirect lighting. They also serve as a display object. This gives potential customers an idea of the wide range of possibilities that can be realised directly on site, for example with the help of the acoustic clouds.
