New show house featuring black Troldtekt

In Billesholm east of Helsingborg in Sweden, would-be home-owners can find inspiration for their dream property at the new show house from one of Sweden’s oldest house-builders, Götenehus. The building is a modern L-shaped house made of wood, and featuring Troldtekt acoustic ceilings.

The house type – Lövhem – is a single-storey building consisting of a kitchen/dining room, living room, bathroom, children’s rooms with a shared play area, an office, utility room and master bedroom with a walk-in wardrobe and en suite bathroom.

“The open connection between the entrance hall, living room and kitchen creates good social spaces. From here, there are three exits to the garden, and large windows provide nice views and a wonderful sense of space,” says Lennart Hajek, an authorised wooden house salesman with Götenehus.

Black Troldtekt acoustic ceilings for contrast

Lennart Hajek says that in connection with the interior design and the choice of materials, the focus has been on creating a simple design with strict colour combinations.

“The walls and furnishings are in shades of white and pale colours, while the black Troldtekt acoustic ceiling panels provide a discreet contrast in the open-plan kitchen/dining room and living room. Black is also used elsewhere, for example the power sockets are black as are the kitchen cupboard door handles and selected furnishings,” says Lennart Hajek.

While the black variant of the design solution Troldtekt line has been chosen for the large rooms, in the main bedroom, the office and children’s rooms, classic Troldtekt acoustic panels in natural wood have been installed for a lighter feel.
