Open plan room with a view of the open landscape
Located on the outskirts of Hadsten, the house takes advantage of the open landscape and its architecture highlights the dramatic landscape with simple contrast effects.
A large roof area with overhangs is an important element, where the view of the open landscape is of great value. The living room on the ground floor, with kitchen, dining area and sofa arrangement, therefore has large windows that provide contact with nature and provide plenty of daylight. There's also a large skylight in the middle of the living room.
The sloping terrain of the plot means the house is spread over two floors, and an elegant staircase in the middle of the living room provides access to rooms and bathrooms on the lower floor. The interior design is themed, with consistent materials in the bathrooms and on the floors, giving it an exclusive and timeless look.
Outside and inside flow together
Black Troldtekt line ceilings have been chosen for all rooms and provide good acoustics throughout, adding to an architectural whole that supports the roof surface as an important element. The large roof frames the magnificent view and provides shade on sunny summer days. The lines in the Troldtekt ceiling panels face the view and help create the impression of one large ceiling surface.
The Troldtekt ceiling continues outside in the overhang, blurring the transition between outside and inside. A terrace facing southwest is also designed as an extension of the living room inside, where an open fireplace helps to demarcate the terrace and create an architectural whole from the outside.
