New facility for sports and games in Toftanäs
The newly built sports hall in Toftanäs is a new venue for school sports. Robust Troldtekt acoustic panels ensure superior acoustics in the new facility.
The school Toftanässkolan on the outskirts of Malmö in southern Sweden has a new sports hall – to the delight of both pupils and citizens in the area, who are now able to engage in wide range of sports activities. Designed by Arkitektgruppen in Malmø, the complex incorporates a full-size handball hall, a club room with adjoining café, four changing rooms and an activity room.
The hall has been designed in light, calm colours in blueish and greyish tones, with striking red, orange and brown doors to the changing rooms for a playful look.
No unnecessary noise
One of the loudest areas in a school is often the sports hall. White-painted Troldtekt acoustic panels have therefore been installed on the ceiling to ensure comfortable acoustics. In addition to absorbing the noise from games and sports, Troldtekt acoustic panels are particularly suitable for sports halls as they are robust and tested to withstand hard impacts from balls.
